Kong: Skull Island Actor Joins Cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters
Fans of “Silicon Valley” now have another reason to look forward to Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Thomas Middleditch has joined the cast, according to THR. Middleditch was also in Kong: Skull Island, although he was the voice of “Jerry”, the guy who calls Brie Larson when she’s in her photography dark room [Source], so I’m guessing he won’t be in some sort of connecting role between the films.
Confirmed to appear in Michael Dougherty’s film are Millie Bobby Brown (“Stranger Things”), Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring, “Bates Motel”), Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones”), Kyle Chandler, Ken Watanabe (Godzilla), Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson, Jr., and Randy Havens star.
Legendary and Warner Bros. announced in late 2015 that all future King Kong and Godzilla movies would be developed by Legendary and distributed by Warner Bros., starting with Kong: Skull Island. Legendary currently holds a distribution deal with Universal, but in order to re-team Godzilla and King Kong, the studio returned the rights to WB.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters stomps into theaters on March 22, 2019.
