A Halloween haunted house attraction so terrifying that the proprietors offer a refund to anyone who can make it through the whole thing? Surely there must be a catch. Yeah – you’re dead. Welcome to the House of Purgatory.

First-time writer director Tyler Christensen has assembled a cast of relative newcomers (Anne Leighton, Laura Coover, Aaron Calvin, Brad Fry) for this Wisconsin lensed indie fright flick about a haunted house attractive that gives Halloween thrillseekers more than their money’s worth.

Every Halloween stories circulate about a haunted house so terrifying that the organizers give money back to people brave enough to make it up each of the 7 floors.

Rumor has it that nobody has ever made it all the way to the top.

Brian Krause (“Charmed”, Stephen King’s Sleepwalker) co-stars as a character known simply as “The Skeleton”, a character I presume will be a sinister being lurking within the confines of the haunted house.

House of Purgatory is currently in post-production. You can keep track of the progress on the film’s Facebook page (link below). Expect to hear more about this one the closer we get to Halloween.
