Director Wes Craven brings this final part of our Scream 4 soundbites video clip series to its conclusion all by himself. Over a decade has passed since the original Scream slashed through the hearts (pun intended) of horror fans everywhere and here Wes talks about the challenges of living up to the high expectations of a new generation of fans as well as working with Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell and his new cast members.
Scream 4 is directed by Wes Craven from a script written by Kevin Williamson. Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox also return to the film along with new cast members Adam Brody, Aimee Teegarden, Alison Brie, Anthony Anderson, Brittany Robertson, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Nico Tortorella, Marielle Jaffe, Mary McDonnell and Rory Culkin. Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Shenae Grimes, and Lucy Hale also signed on in cameos.
Look for Scream 4 in theatres on April 15th, 2011.
Synopsis
“Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.”
