It’s jackpot for fans anticipating next week’s release of Scream 4 as we have a bunch of new goodies for you all to dig on including TV spots and the cover of tomorrow’s Entertainment Weekly.
Speaking of which, writer Kevin Williamson finally dishes on the so-called turmoil that took place on set between him and the Weinsteins. “Everyone was second-guessing everything, because everyone wanted it to be so perfect,” Williamson tells EW. “We got into a massive fight creatively, and we hugged it out and then we moved on.” Kind of anticlimactic, eh? Sorry, gossip hounds. Sometimes truth is nowhere near as glamorous as fiction.
Scream 4 is directed by Wes Craven from a script written by Kevin Williamson. Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox also return to the film along with new cast members Adam Brody, Aimee Teegarden, Alison Brie, Anthony Anderson, Brittany Robertson, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Nico Tortorella, Marielle Jaffe, Mary McDonnell and Rory Culkin star. Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Shenae Grimes, and Lucy Hale also signed on for cameos.

“Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.”
