E3 2017: Hello Neighbor Breaking and Entering on August 29th

The level of hype attained by the upcoming horror game Hello Neighbor defies belief. We reported last month that videos for the game had amassed a grand total of over 600 million views online, so it’s great to see that it’s also making a splash at E3 with a brand new trailer. I also love how developer Dynamic Pixels have promised that the game will not contain any jump scares, instead relying on genuine suspenseful horror. The new trailer certainly has an incredibly unsettling feeling to it, even with the gorgeous Pixar-style visuals.

We’ll be trespassing in our neighbor’s homes when Hello Neighbor arrives on PC and Xbox One on August 29, 2017 from publisher tinyBuild Games.

Synopsis
Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game about sneaking into your neighbor’s house to figure out what horrible secrets he’s hiding in the basement. You play against an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Really enjoying climbing through that backyard window? Expect a bear trap there. Sneaking through the front door? There’ll be cameras there soon. Trying to escape? The Neighbor will find a shortcut and catch you.

Suspenseful horror gameplay (not jump scares) that focuses on sneaking around your neighbor’s house.

Constantly evolving experience where the Neighbor’s AI counters your moves, and learns from what you do.

Sandbox-style gameplay with plenty of environmental interaction and physics.

Episode 50: Sean Keller Was Terrified Watching Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970)
We're incredibly excited to share our 50th episode with special guest the talented and multi-hyphenate Sean Keller. He co-wrote the screenplay to Dario Argento's Giallo and last year's Into the Dark episode "All That We Destroy" but he's also a musician. His latest Halloween album called Revenge of the Killer Sounds of Halloween debuts September 22nd! Not only did we get a sneak peak but we are sharing MB and Terry's favorite song off the album "You Won't See Me." Oh yeah...and Sean ALSO created our theme song. After discussing his career, we turn our attention to Beneath the Planet of the Apes a film that surprises even in 2020 with its anti-war and anti-ignorance themes. Religions, war and anti-thought scientists get taken to task as we unpack the WTFery of it all.
