E3 2017: Matterfall Brings Brutal Futuristic Action to PS4
Another great looking exclusive will soon be heading to the PS4 in the form of developer Housemarque’s Matterfall, which will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on 5 August 2017. You may recognize Housemarque as the folks who bought us the acclaimed shooters Resogun and Alienation, both of which were also published by Sony.
The brutal side-scrolling shooter takes places in a futuristic world overrun with a strange alien material known as Smart Matter. Playing as a power suit-clad soldier named Avalon Darrow, you’ll be able to utilize the neutral blue matter to defeat your alien foes. Because it’s a side-scroller, platforming will obviously be a huge focus in addition to combat, and you can see both in the E3 trailer below.
Matterfall is currently available to pre-order on the PS Store for $19.99, or you can head over to Amazon for a physical copy.
