Hammer Horror’s Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter Lives On in Comic Form
Titan Comics has revealed that they will be adapting Hammer Horror’s Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter into a comic book series, one that continues the story of the 1974 cult classic film. Titan Comics will be releasing the series, which will be written by Dan Abnett (Aquaman, Guardians of the Galaxy) and drawn by Tom Mandrake (Sidekick, The Spectre).
In the 1974 film, which was written and directed by Brian Clemens, “A master swordsman and former soldier and his hunchbacked assistant hunt vampires.” The comic series “…chronicles the adventures of the mysterious and powerful Kronos, who has dedicated his life to destroying the evil vampire plague.”
The four-part comic series will debut in September of this year.

In the depths of Eastern Europe, legendary vampire hunter Captain Kronos and his two assistants, Grost and Carla, are called upon to help rid a town of its vampire plague. However, beneath the surface of the beleaguered town, a malevolent force far more evil and deadly is awakening; and it might just be the match of Kronos…
