Every since word broke about K.M. Jamison’s latest short film Inhumane, we’ve been wondering just how inhumane the events in the flick would get. Judging from the first stills, we’d say very.

Below you’ll find the first official image of the main character of the film, Corbin Hobbs, along with a couple of set photos showcasing some rather nasty effects work. For more visit the official Inhumane blog.

While we wait for more, head over to Inhumane‘s Facebook page and “like” the short film!

Synopsis:
Introducing a new conception of true crime horror with horrifying inspiration from the morbid case of Ohio-based serial killer Anthony Sowell, Inhumane is a short film that will portray the discovery of a 37-year-old exterminator and social outcast named Corbin Hobbs. Starring Marv Blauvelt (Come, Terror Overload, Slices of Life) and Heather Dorff (Afraid of Sunrise, Acceptance) and featuring Kelsey Zukowski (Psycho Street, Scream Queen Campfire, The Melon Heads), Inhumane is a cinematic account from Corbin’s malicious crime spree, profiling the result of his deliberate role in the murders of more than seventeen call girls and prostitutes over a time period of ten years.

Written and directed by K.M. Jamison (Serial: Amoral Uprising) with practical special effects provided James Bett, Jr. (Serial: Amoral Uprising, Into the Pit: The Shocking Story of Deadpit.com), Inhumane will begin production in April and is the first official short film of 2011 to be produced by K.M. Jamison and Jim Bett, Jr.’s Midwest-based production company, Black Eye Entertainment.
