Fede Alvarez Designs His Own 80’s-Esque Poster for Don’t Breathe

Last year’s Don’t Breathe (review) was not only a fantastic horror/thriller, it was a magnificent sophomore effort from Fede Alvarez, the man behind the, in my personal opinion, stellar 2013 Evil Dead continuation.

On top of being a box office success, Don’t Breathe was a heavily talked about film that won over a great many critics, making it the rare horror/thriller to shine and succeed through an August release, usually a dump month that doesn’t generate good stats.

Earlier today and out of the blue, Alvarez shared an 80’s poster design that he created for the film, which you can see below. Complete with lens flare, important characters, and a definite sense of foreboding, it’s the kind of poster that I’d be proud to hang up in my place!

Synopsis:
A trio of friends break into the house of a wealthy blind man, thinking they’ll get away with the perfect heist. They’re wrong.
