Go Behind the Scenes of War for the Planet of the Apes with Steve Zahn and HBO

With the War for the Planet of the Apes about to kick off in a few weeks, HBO is airing a new “First Look” that goes behind the scenes with Steve Zahn, aka Bad Ape, among the film’s other stars. “War for the Planet of the Apes: HBO First Look” premieres Monday, July 3rd; watch a taste below, and check your local listings for other showings.

War for the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer, and Terry Notary. It comes out July 14, 2017.

Synopsis:
Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.
