Tremors TV Series Coming to Syfy!
Looks like we’re not safe from graboids just yet!
At this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival, actor Kevin Bacon spoke with Screen Daily about the status of a “Tremors” TV series, which he confirmed is getting a pilot treatment for Syfy. He also confirmed that he will be reprising his role as Valentine McKee, saying, “It’s the only character I’ve ever played that I was interested in exploring 25 years later. It is a really good movie.”
He elaborates, “I don’t go back and watch my movies, but because we were doing this one, I had to go back and look at it. It’s just the idea of this loser who is living a very ordinary life and has an extraordinary experience with these monsters and becomes, for a moment, a hero.”
The series will focus on McKee 25 years after the events his character underwent. Bacon will produce, alongside Jason Blum, as well as star.
