Friday the 13th: The Game – Single Player Preview
We’re still basking in the glory of Friday the 13th: The Game (review), which is nothing short of a killer time (when it works). Creator and Chief Booty Technician Wes Keltner of developer Gun Media recently took to Twitter to share a bit about the upcoming single player addition to the game, which will be coming sometime this summer.
“Think about the game like a film: Multiplayer starts at reel 4 (everyone knows Jason is there). Single Player starts at reel 1. AI victims have no idea.”

Admittedly that’s not a lot to go on, but Keltner did take the time to also post the following single player storyboard. Dig it!
Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person horror, survival game where players take on the role of a teen counselor, or for the first time ever, Jason Voorhees. It’s built on a multiplayer platform, with one team playing the counselors and one person playing Voorhees. The former have to find a way to survive either by hiding or escaping. Jason’s role is simple: kill everyone.
