FrightFest 2017: Better Watch Out for Some Eye Candy!
Our barrage of images continues, and next up to bat is some new eye candy for Better Watch Out (formerly Safe Neighborhood). Playing as part of FrightFest 2017, Better Watch Out is set for a domestic theatrical and digital release on October 6th.
The film hails from director Chris Peckover, who co-wrote it with Zack Kahn from a story by Kahn. Producers are Thornquest and Sidonie Abbene of Storm Vision Entertainment and Hambel and Paul Jensen of Best Medicine Productions.
Starring Olivia DeJonge (The Visit), the movie follows a babysitter that must defend her 12-year-old ward, played by Pan‘s Levi Miller, from intruders that have planned an extraordinary home invasion. Virginia Madsen and Patrick Warburton also star, along with Ed Oxenbould, Aleks Mikic, and Dacre Montgomery of “Stranger Things.”
Synopsis:
Set in a quiet American suburb on a snowy evening on the lead up to Christmas, Ashley (DeJonge), the regular babysitter for Deandra (Madsen) and Robert Lerner (Warburton), has to defend their twelve-year-old son (Miller) from strangers breaking into the house – only to discover that this is far from a normal home invasion.
