Horrible Imaginings Film Festival Releases Disturbing, Head-Splitting Trailer
San Diego has always been known for surf and sun, but for the last eight years Horrible Imaginings Film Festival has brought days of terrifying darkness to cloud those rays!
Check out the all-new full trailer to get people ready for the events coming to The Museum of Photographic Arts on September 8th through 10th. This practical effects-heavy trailer was scored by the legendary Fabio Frizzi, who is known worldwide for providing the ethereal horror sounds of The Beyond, City of the Living Dead, Zombi, and more!
It was directed by Anthony Cousins, whose short film adaptation of Jeremy Robert Johnson’s When Susurrus Stirs has hit the horror film festival scene to acclaim and awards. The bizarre effects were done by Ryan Schaddelee, who also worked on When Susurrus Stirs, as well as the effects for last year’s stellar feature film I Am Not A Serial Killer, which starred Christopher Lloyd.
Horrible Imaginings will be announcing their official selections throughout the month of July, so you know we will be there to report them! Keep an eyeball open!
