Kong: Skull Island Timeline Being Expanded Upon in New Videos
A new video has been posted to the Kong: Skull Island twitter that expands upon the Kong/Godzilla timeline. This video in particular focuses on the year 1991, where, “A covert Monarch team establishes a quarantine zone around a dormant volcano in Isle de Mona.”
This is the second video in the timeline’s series, so we can definitely expect there to be more in the coming days/weeks. It looks like the timeline will go all the way into the modern era where we’ll get more information about the events in 2014’s Godzilla and the forthcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong.
Kong: Skull Island Synopsis:
A diverse team of scientists, soldiers, and adventurers unite to explore a mythical, uncharted island in the Pacific, as dangerous as it is beautiful. Cut off from everything they know, the team ventures into the domain of the mighty Kong, igniting the ultimate battle between man and nature. As their mission of discovery becomes one of survival, they must fight to escape a primal Eden in which humanity does not belong.
