Remembering George A. Romero by Matt Boiselle

Wow. Certainly not a day that I would’ve seen coming, or ever would have wished for. As I sit here grieving the loss of my own uncle today, I’m forced to accept that the man who created some of the very films I watched during my childhood is gone as well.

George Romero – you’ve given horror audiences worldwide some insanely beautiful (and fantastically gory) material that we can sink our teeth into for years to come. Although I was only able to sit with him for a short minute at Rock and Shock back in 2015, you could just tell that he had a certain affinity for his followers – rest easy, Mr. Romero – you’ve earned it.

Damn, any way to get a re-do on this day?
