Eric Fischer’s Chilling Debut The Anniversary at Shallow Creek to Drop on DVD July 5

From the baseball diamond to the silver screen, former pro baller Eric Fischer and his beautiful wife, Brianna Lee Johnson, will share acting and producing credits on Breaking Glass Pictures’ new release The Anniversary at Shallow Creek. Directed by Jon D. Wagner, the slick looking film will be released on DVD under the Vicious Circle Films label on July 5th.
The film features Fischer and Johnson in the lead roles of Sam and Paige, a couple who decide to escape the stress of medical school for a romantic getaway in the mountains. Their four best friends tag along, turning it into a weekend of partying. However, the group members are unaware their beautiful mountain lodge has a dark history: Exactly one year earlier, the house was the scene of a grisly double murder and the killer was never apprehended. As night falls and the friends drinks beer around a bonfire, a predator hides in the darkness, watching them all through the crosshairs of a sniper rifle, and their festive night turns into a bloody fight for survival.
The Anniversary at Shallow Creek is a cool homage to classic horror and a clever update to the genre that keeps the audience guessing. As the body count rises, the survivors become pawns in a horrifying game that tests their mettle, the strength of their relationships and their will to live.
DVD special features will include a behind-the-scenes featurette, interviews and audio commentary with the director, stars and producer.
