Telluride Horror Show Releases Fantastic Official Poster For its Eighth Year
This October will mark the eighth year of the Telluride Horror Show, a three-day horror film festival based out of Telluride, CO. Running from October 13th through 15th, the festival will give attendees the opportunity to see films that haven’t yet been released, meet people in the horror world, such as filmmakers, authors, producers, and more, as well as participate in fun and exciting events! Last year, they had author Joe R. Lansdale (Bubba Ho-Tep) and Nick Jongerius (The Windmill) as well as advance screenings of Terrifier, Raw, and The Autopsy of Jane Doe.
To celebrate the upcoming eighth year of the festival, a new poster from artist Mark Zingarelli has been released and can be seen below!
Additionally, the third venue this year is the Palm Theatre, a state-of-the-art venue with 587 seats and a big beautiful screen. It is replacing the “Gargoyle Room” at the Telluride Library. The festival explains, “Not only will the Palm allow us to run more of the popular programs twice (so you can see more of what you want to see), it also has 35MM projectors…so we’re especially excited to once again have the ability to run select retro films the way they were meant to be seen, on glorious 35MM.”
I attended last year and had an absolute blast, so you damn well better believe that I’m going to be there this year! Plus, a horror film festival whose opening night is on Friday the 13th of October?! I can’t even IMAGINE the shenanigans that are going to take place there! So, if you want to join me, snag your tickets right here and I’ll see you in the Rocky Mountains!
