It seems like every other day a different platform for streaming lands on our radar, and the latest to do so is Verizon’s go90, a free service where the new horror/sci-fi web series “Threads” resides. “Threads,” from New Form, showcases eerie, true stories sourced from public internet threads.

Featuring voice-over by Milana Vayntrub (“This Is Us,” “New Warriors”), “Threads” releases new episodes of approximately four minutes each on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Click here to watch the first two eps, for which you’ll find the synopses below.

The internet is the world’s largest confessional — from online communities and message boards to chat rooms and web forums (think reddit), the internet is a communal vault for our biggest secrets and most traumatizing experiences…

“Threads” S1:E1 Deep Web
A web surfing session gets “deep” when a man stumbles upon a hidden server of cryptic messages. But before he can discover more of the truth, he is greeted with one message: “we_see_you.”

“Threads S1:E2 The Woman in the Woods
A casual hike in the woods turns into a nightmarish encounter with a strange woman, blurring the lines between uncomfortably real and paranormal.
