Kristopher Turner, Little Bit ZombieO Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we’ll soon see the dead rise in Casey Walker’s A Little Bit Zombie.

Confused? It’s just a little bit of news about the next project from Canada featuring the undead: A Little Bit Zombie starring Crystal Lowe (“Smallville”), Kristopher Turner (“Instant Star”; pictured right), and Shawn Roberts (Resident Evil: Afterlife), in which Turner plays a company exec who becomes infected by a virus during a bachelor party, forced to avoid an obsessed zombie hunter and his Bridezilla-to-be (Lowe).

Per The Hollywood Reporter the indie genre film from Cave Painting Pictures, to shoot in June in Sudbury, Ontario, will also star Kristen Hager (“Being Human” US), Stephen McHattie (Pontypool, Immortals), and Neil Whitely (Red, Repo Men). Christopher Bond and Trevor Martin wrote the film’s script while director Walker shares a producer credit with John Griffith. A Little Bit Zombie will be distributed by Full Plate Productions.

Episode 256: Filmmaker Toby Jones and Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction S1E2 (1997)
This week we chat with Toby Jones, who's written on TV series such as OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes, Regular Show and more. His latest is AJ Goes to the Dog Park, a surreal comedy that combines real life, animation, CG and stop motion into one ridiculous, surrealistic story set in Fargo. It's an absolute trip and we can't wait for more people to see it. We talk about his writing history, the idea behind AJ's many journeys and more. Then we discuss his relationship to horror, including the first time he saw Guinea Pig movies (!!!) and so much more. Finally, we find out why the Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction Season 1 Episode 2 segment "Kid in the Closet" absolutely terrified him growing up. We share our own relationship to the show, dig into the "fact or fiction" of it all and Toby gives us a great idea for a party game. You can follow Toby on Bluesky, Instagram and Twitter.
