Friday the 13th: The Game Officially Announces Physical Edition to Come This October

Earlier this year, Gun Media released Friday the 13th: The Game after what felt like one delay after another. And while it wasn’t a perfect launch (there are still users claiming to experience glitches and bugs across various platforms), a lot of people are enjoying the hell out of the multiplayer experience. However, the only way you can get your hands on a copy is to not actually get your hands on it at all! Instead of having a physical release at launch, the game elected to start digital only, leaving many to wonder if there would ever be a copy that they could add to their shelves. Well, fear no more as Gun Media has officially announced physical copies for both Xbox One and Playstation 4!

The physical copies will be coming out on perhaps the most appropriate date ever: Friday, October 13th. And rather than charge $60, they recognize that the game will have been out for a while and, as a result, will cost $40 upon release. A bonus feature for the physical disc will be a free Bloody Jason Skin for all playable Jasons and free pack of clothing for each of the playable camp counselors.
