Bait 3DAfter watching the sales trailer for Kimble Rendall’s Bait 3D, we have to say we’re ridiculously excited to see the movie. It’s certainly not high art, but if this is any indication of what’s to come, we’re in for some good old fashioned turn-your-brain-off bloody fun.

Xavier Samuel (Twilight: Eclipse, The Loved Ones), Julian McMahon (Red, Fantastic Four, Faces in the Crowd), Sharni Vinson (Step Up 3D, Blue Crush 2), Phoebe Tonkin (Tomorrow When the War Began), Martin Sacks, Alice Parkinson (Sanctum), Alexander Russell (Wasted on the Young), Qi Yuwu, Adrian Pang, Lincoln Lewis, and Damien Garvey star.

Synopsis
In a sleepy beach community shoppers at an underground supermarket are terrorized by a crazed bandit when the unimaginable occurs:

A monstrous freak tsunami swallows the town.

Now trapped, with rushing water threatening to entomb them in a watery grave, the survivors discover they are not alone.

The tsunami has brought unwanted visitors from the depths. Not only must they overcome the threat of drowning and the predator within their midst, but a threat far more deadly and far more bloodthirsty – packs of hungry tiger sharks.
