The passing of George A. Romero happened less than a month ago but it already feels like it’s been so much longer. The outpouring of love and support from the entire film community has been nothing short of heartwarming and touching. It’s a loss that still stings and one that will be keenly felt for a while to come.

To honor Romero’s legacy, YouTube channel Dead Meat, which is hosted by James A. Janisse, decided to go back to the start and do a Kill Count episode for Night of the Living Dead. Over the course of 12+ minutes, Janisse dives into the deaths we see and offers information about the film, giving a well-rounded video that I’m positive George would’ve loved.
