Blair & Jones Ready for Evil
Given that both Selma Blair (pictured, right) and Doug Jones have been lending their voice talents to the animated Hellboy movies, it should be no surprise to anyone to hear that they are doing the same for the upcoming video game Hellboy: The Science of Evil. No surprise, but it is nice to have it confirmed via press release that they will be joining Ron Perlman and ensuring that the game feels as much a part of the Hellboy film universe as the animated spinoffs do.
With a big name publisher like Konami behind the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PSP title and with Guillermo del Toro and Mike Mignola offering creative guidance, things are certainly looking good for both the final product and Hellboy fans.
This one has been on the boil for a good while, especially for a licensed game, so here’s hoping it lives up to the potential of what a Hellboy game ought to be.
