A new poster for the upcoming video game-to-film adaptation of It Came From the Desert has been released and can be seen below. The film is an adaptation of the 1989 Cinemaware game of the same.

In the original game, the player took on the role of Dr. Greg Bradley, a geologist who goes into the remote wilderness of Nevada to investigate a meteor crash. It turns out that the radiation from the meteor has made the local ant population much larger than usual and its up to him to get evidence, convince the town of their impending doom, and also contain the threat.

Directed by Marko Mäkilaakso, who co-write the film with Trent Haaga (68 Kill), It Came From The Desert stars Mark Arnold, Harry Lister Smith, Vanessa Grasse, Claudio Trujillo, Alex Mills, James Alper, and Callum McGowan.

Synopsis:
IT CAME FROM THE DESERT is a motocross action film with giant ants. The film is inspired by a cult video game from 80’s made by Cinemaware.
