Wyrmwood Creators Release Demonic Ghostbusters-esque Short and It’s Badass

The Roache-Turner brothers, the same Australian filmmakers who brought us Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, are back with Daemonrunner, a sci-fi/horror short that is essentially a much more violent and gory take on Ghostbusters! The basic premise is that a duo of demon-hunting women take possessed people and cleanse them through a rather intense extraction procedure that features loads of blood vomit, a sinister pentagram, and demons rising out of blueish goo.

Shorts like this are what make me scream, “Give ’em a full budget!” It’s got incredible production and what little they show is enough to let me know the basics of the world that this story lives in. That world, my dear readers, is one that I want to dive into for a more fleshed out experience!
