Halloween Horror Nights Teams Up With Eli Roth For TV Spot

Halloween Horror Nights has made it a point of pride that they create some of the finest licensed horror attractions around. Now they have another accolade they can add to their resume: they got Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) to direct his first ever commercial TV spot for their Hollywood and Orlando events!

Roth explains, “I first got involved with Halloween Horror Nights as a fan – I felt that I was in a horror movie and I didn‘t want it to end. For this spot, I wanted to pay homage to these brilliant and scary films, and yet put my own spin on it.”

The 30-second TV spot, dubbed “The Mourning After”, will begin airing Labor Day weekend and can also be seen below. Additionally, there’s a three-and-a-half minute behind-the-scenes clip about the making of the spot that includes interview footage with Roth, whose own film Hostel was adapted into a maze at Halloween Horror Nights 2011.
