Exclusive: Jane Sibbett Discusses Filming The Resurrected

Coming next week to home video is Scream Factory’s release of The Resurrected, the 1991 horror film from Dan O’Bannon (Alien, Return of the Living Dead). To celebrate this release, we’ve got an exclusive clip from a behind-the-scenes interview with star Jane Sibbett, who discusses her time on set, the production values, and apparently the disappearance of a fake body! Written and directed by Dan O’Bannon (Alien, Aliens, Return of the Living Dead, Heavy Metal), the 1991 film is based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft and stars John Terry (Zodiac, Full Metal Jacket), Jane Sibbett (Arrival II), Chris Sarandon (Fright Night), Laurie Briscoe (Breaking Point) and Robert Romanus (Fast Times at Ridgemont High).

The home video release will feature a 2K restoration of the film as well as new interviews. There will also be an audio commentary, deleted scenes, trailers, photos, and more. You can see the full list of special features below.

Synopsis:
Since the beginning of time, man has struggled with death. Now Charles Dexter Ward (Chris Sarandon), a wealthy scientist, may have found a way to beat it. Using an ancient diary and human remains, Ward begins a terrifying and bloody pursuit for immortality. By the time his wife Claire (Jane Sibbett) hires private investigator John March (John Terry) to halt the horrible experiments, it’s too late … the dead have been resurrected!
