This Ghosted/The X-Files Mash-up Video Is Just What We Need on Monday!
Fox’s new series “Ghosted” may fall on the comedy side of the fence, but as we learned at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the creative team intends for it to include a lot of horror elements and wants to keep the scares as real as possible. The series will typically include a “monster of the week” similar to “The X-Files,” and speaking of that series, a new video mashing up the two shows has hit the Net, and it’s exactly the type of entertainment we could all use after the stressful events of the past several days.
The video, which celebrates the 24-year anniversary of “The X-Files,” shows Mulder and Scully working with the “Ghosted” team of Max and Leroy. Check it out, and be sure to tune in when “Ghosted” premieres on Sunday, October 1st.

Starring Craig Robinson (Leroy) and Adam Scott (Max), “Ghosted” is a single-camera, live-action horror/comedy about the partnership between two polar opposites – a cynical skeptic and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal – who are recruited to investigate unexplained phenomena in Los Angeles, all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.
As for “The X-Files,” the all-new, 10-episode 11th season, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, will air during the 2017-2018 season.
