One of the biggest surprises of the summer for us so far is that MTV’s new “Teen Wolf” has turned out to be quite watchable and actually pretty enjoyable. Those of you who agree will want to check out “Search for a Cure”, a six-episode companion web series recently launched by the network starring Tyler Posey and his real-life father, John.
EW.com got the first word on the webisodes, which were written and directed by the show’s creator, Jeff Davis. Each episode follows Scott (Posey) and his best friend Stiles (Dylan O’Brien). The shorts also introduce a new character, Dr. Fenris, who’s played by Posey’s dad (actor John Posey, who has a long TV career including recent guest spots in “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior”). John Posey will also appear in the actual MTV series later this season.
You can check out the first two eps below, and look for Nos. 3-6 to premiere weekly on Mondays starting tomorrow, July 4th. AT&T is the project’s sponsor, with episodes first debuting on AT&T’s Facebook page for 24 hours before spreading to ATT’s U-verse outlets and MTV.com.
