DVD and Blu-ray Releases: September 19, 2017
Welcome back, everyone. I am writing this article on my birthday, although it will be published the day after my birthday. I will not be eating any shish-kebab today, although it has been a happy birthday to me thus far.
First, a few discrepancies. The Devil’s Candy may not be available until September 26th, but you may be able to find a copy of it this week also. Of course I will remind you again next week. Additionally, the Children Of The Corn Blu-ray from Arrow that is scheduled for this week may not hit shelves until October 3rd. If you don’t see it now, check back then.
Fans of the “Bates Motel” TV series will be happy to know that they can pick up either Season 5 or the complete series. Similarly, fans of the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” TV series, can pick up season 2 or 3, or the complete series, which Dread Central offers its opinion of here.
In terms of classics, there are a few good picks listed, from 1983’s Sweet Sixteen to Innocent Blood in 1992. If you throw in all of the Nightmare On Elm St. releases, there’s a bit of everything for everyone.
Lastly, if you were able to check out this recent clip from Ghost House and you enjoyed it, you’ll be pleased to know that this is also dropping this week.
Keep checking back as we have at least 20 releases to discuss nearly every week between now and Halloween. As always, pleasant viewing.
