We, like many, have been wondering just what the hell is up with the status of Zombieland 2. Things have been eerily quiet, and usually that doesn’t bode well. Star Jesse Eisenberg feels the same way.

In a recent interview for his film Holy Rollers Eisenberg updated website Little White Lies as to the status of the flick. “They’re writing the script right now but I haven’t seen it, and I suspect that the longer we wait, the less relevant it will be. I mean, all the actors would love to do it and the director would love to do it, but I’m not sure what’s happening.”

If the flick does end up happening, Eisenberg will star with Woody Harrelson, and director Ruben Fleischer will once again be at its helm. We’ll keep our ears to the ground for you. Rule #21: Never count a good ghoul out!
