Exclusive: Bottleneck Gallery Reveals NYCC Art Prints Including Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street 3
We’re only days away from this year’s New York Comic Con and that means we’ve got some exciting news ahead of its doors opening! Today, we want to tell you about Bottleneck Galleries (Booth #2160), who will be bringing several highly limited and gorgeous prints to the show.
We have the exclusive first look at Matthew Peak’s Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors print and variant, Rockin Jelly Bean’s Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter print, and Godmachine’s print and variant for Predator.
Peak’s print is essentially an updated version of his original design for the 1987 film. The colors here pop with vibrancy and the level of detail is just astonishing. Bean’s poster is far more grindhouse in presentation. It pops with toxic green and electric yellow, those colors almost, but not totally, drawing away from the blood-red stains on Jason’s machete. And as for Godmachine’s Predator? It shows a Yautja haunched atop a pile of skulls, a red sun behind his spiky, intimidating silhouette. Simply put: it’s badass.
You can see the beautiful images as well as details about each of the prints below.
If you can’t attend and if Bottleneck Gallery doesn’t sell out, they will be putting them up for sale on their official website sometime in the very near future. To make sure you know when they’re going up, give them a follow on Twitter.
New York Comic Con runs October 5th through 8th.
