Plot Revealed for Unfriended 2 aka Unfriended: Game Night

Yesterday we shared the news that a secret sequel to Unfriended (review) was shot off-the-grid and is currently making the test screening rounds. And now we have more details on the film.

The new info comes to us from our buddies over at Bloody Disgusting who not only confirmed that Unfriended 2 did have a test screening on October 3rd, but that the film is called Unfriended: Game Night.

On top of all that, they also got the scoop on the sequel’s plot which is said to use “the same computer-screen format and tell the story about a teen who comes into possession of the new laptop and finds that it may have been stolen. He discovers the previous owner may be watching every move he makes and will do anything to get it back.”

Unfriended: Game Night doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’ll let you know when we hear more.

Synopsis:
A group of online chat room friends find themselves haunted by a mysterious, supernatural force using the account of their dead friend.
