George A. Romero Finally Getting His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

default-featured-image

While the man himself would be far too humble to even accept such an honor, we film and horror fans know for a fact that George A. Romero deserves a spot on the landmark Hollywood Walk of Fame, and it is FINALLY happening! Even cooler? YOU can be a part of this celebration!

As Per the Alex Theatre Website:
Join us with George’s family and close friends as we celebrate the life and career of the legendary horror filmmaker, who passed away on July 16, 2017, at the age of 77. Romero, who pioneered the zombie film genre with the 1968 feature Night of the Living Dead, made an indelible imprint on the industry and inspired a multitude of influential directors and actors.

Help us celebrate his legacy with a Q&A with celebrity fans and friends, followed by a screening of George’s classic Warner Bros. film CREEPSHOW, starring Ed Harris, Ted Danson, Leslie Nielsen, Stephen King, Hal Holbrook, and Adrienne Barbeau, among others.

VIP ticket includes 7:00 pm pre-show reception in Terrace Lobby and general admission seating within the VIP section.
