Exclusive: Take a Snapshot of This Diane Mini Trailer
The USA premiere of the supernatural horror/thriller Diane will be held October 28th at Cinépolis Chelsea in New York City during the New York City Horror Fest. To give you a taste of what’s to come, we’ve got an exclusive mini-teaser from the film, which you can watch below.
Writer/producer/director Michael Mongillo explains, “Diane is not your standard horror movie. It is [an] eerie existential melodrama where the button-pushing shocks and scares take a back seat to the goal of exploring the human condition.”
Written, produced, and directed by Mongillo, Diane stars Jason Alan Smith, Carlee Avers, Dick Boland, Margaret Rose Champagne, Jim Thalman, Ryan Barry McCarthy, David Mikaels, Doug Tompos, Kathy Searle, and Sewell Whitney.

Synopsis:
Steve’s lingering injuries and regrets from the war in Afghanistan plunge him into a soulless routine until the dead body of a beautiful singer, Diane, is dumped in his back yard. Steve takes a digital photo of her before reporting the murder to the police and soon he becomes obsessed with the dead woman’s image. Now the prime suspect, Steve is scrutinized by the police, hassled by Diane’s widower, and attacked by self-righteous neighbors. Before long, the malevolent ghost of Diane begins to work a dark spell that leads Steve to strange and startling revelations.
