Director Confirms Creep 3 Will Round Out the Trilogy
One of our favorite recent found footage flicks was Mark Duplass and director Patrick Brice’s Creep (review). The movie is more than aptly titled, and we cannot wait for the film’s follow-up, Creep 2, to hit later this month.
Our own Jonathan Barkan just gave the new film a glowing review, and with that in mind, we are excited to share the news that director Patrick Brice confirmed at the Telluride Horror Show that there will be a Creep 3!
Brice evidently told people at a Creep 2 Q&A that the first film and the second were presold on the condition that there would be a trilogy all said and done. And we say the more Creep, the better!
But what about you? Did you enjoy the first film, and are you excited about the sequel and/or the announcement of a Creep trilogy? Let us know below!
Written by Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass with Brice directing, Creep 2 stars Duplass, who reprises his role from the first film, and Desiree Akhavan.
The Orchard will see Creep 2 hitting all digital formats on October 24th.
Creep 2 Synopsis:
CREEP 2 stars Desiree Akhavan as Sara, a video artist whose primary focus is creating intimacy with lonely men. After finding an ad online for “video work,” she thinks she may have found the subject of her dreams. She drives to a remote house in the forest and meets a man claiming to be a serial killer (Mark Duplass). Unable to resist the chance to create a truly shocking piece of art, she agrees to spend the day with him. However, as the day goes on, she discovers she may have dug herself into a hole she can’t escape.
