Del Toro’s The Shape of Water Opening in New York Earlier Than Expected
It’s been announced that Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming film The Shape of Water is going to open in New York City on December 1st, a week earlier than expected. The film will expand to Los Angeles on December 8th followed by additional markets in the following weeks.
Directed by Guillermo del Toro, who co-wrote the film with Vanessa Taylor, The Shape of Water stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg and Octavia Spencer.
Synopsis:
In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
