We revealed earlier this month our plans to release a whole slate of new genre films under the horror label Dread Central Presents. Now, we can exclusively reveal the first batch of titles that will be coming out in a special series of monthly screenings being dubbed “Dread Central Presents,” followed by VOD and home video releases.

Arriving January 26th in theaters will be Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight, the cult Chinese-zombie horror/comedy from director Alan Lo. When a monster from a popular animated show appears and starts a zombie outbreak, it’s up to eccentric duo Lung and Chi-Yeung to stand up and fight! Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight will play late January in select theaters as a double bill with a special screening of the fan favorite Turbo Kid.

Also coming fresh off the festival circuit is Imitation Girl, the sci-fi feature debut from writer/director Natasha Kermani starring indie darling Ashley Lauren Carter (Premium Rush, The Mind’s Eye, Jug Face). Imitation Girl premiered at FrightFest and played Dances With Films and CineQuest, among other festivals. The story follows a mysterious young woman who materializes in the middle of the Southwestern desert, where each step teaches her about her new world and her new body. As she assumes her new life, she discovers she has a twin with whom she shares more than just an outward appearance. You can expect to see it in theaters via the Dread Central Presents monthly screenings next spring.

Last but not least is #Screamers, directed by Dean Ronalds (Netherbeast Incorporated), who co-wrote the film with Tom Malloy. It stars Malloy (The Alphabet Killer), Chris Bannow, Griffin Matthews, and Theodora Miranne (“The Blacklist: Redemption”). When Internet company Gigaler.com decides to investigate a series of “screamer” videos, they are confronted with havoc and hell they could never have anticipated. #Screamers premiered at Torino and won Best Film at Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and Studio City Film Festival. Look out for #Screamers in March in theaters and On Demand.

And as previously mentioned in our trailer and poster debut for Damien Leone’s killer clown feature Terrifier, that also will be a Dread Central Presents release early next year!
