Horror Timelines Dissected in Web Series
YouTuber Josh Spiegel dropped us a line to let us know about his video series of Horror Timelines, in which he spends more than a few minutes trying to piece together the timelines of some of horror’s greatest franchises. As you would imagine, this can be an arduous task as franchise timelines rarely make sense.
Texas Chainsaw 3D is a great example of “Well, how in the hell could that be?” given that it’s a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre that takes place in modern day 2012 starring a 20-something, who should be 39, and who was apparently born in 1973. No matter how you slice it, the math will never add up; and bless Spiegel for trying to make sense of any of it!
You can check out all of his videos on the Movie Timelines YouTube Page.
