New Still and First Details on Brian Kazmarck’s Terminal Legacy

Actor Cuyle Carvin dropped us a line with a new still from his latest project, the sci-fi/horror thriller Terminal Legacy, which was written and directed by Brian Kazmarck and is now in post-production.
Cuyle also passed on to us the following synopsis/message from Kazmarck to share with our readers:
Terminal Legacy is an exciting apocalyptic sci-fi thriller about a team of three scientists whose attempt at creating the ultimate miracle drug horribly backfires. In the wake of an outbreak within their facility, they must race to prevent the remaining patients from escaping as well as dealing with their own divisive motivations.
Our film is unique among its cinematic brethren in that it’s an apocalyptic/zombie movie told from the point of view of the men responsible for the “outbreak” and is told as the outbreak starts. It is not told in the aftermath, nor is it about some ragtag group of survivors filling cliche, stereotypical roles. You could say that it combines the best of I Am Legend and The Crazies and would serve as a prequel to either of those films.
The film has two central characters who are foils to one another. Will Taylor is the lead scientist behind the creation of the miracle drug, based on a molecular phenomenon he calls “mirror life.” Will is successful, bright, rational, even-keeled; has a beautiful wife; and yet goes about this experiment underhandedly by taking a very dubious short cut: being financed by a ruthless, shadowy entrepreneur. He even keeps the truth of the experiment from his patients and his wife.
Jordan Kovalsky is Will’s foil. Desperate for cash and short on temper, he enrolls in this experiment under the impression that it will cure his aching migraines. Jordan is unemployed, is street-wise and hot-tempered, and meets a young, vulnerable girl (Lindsey) during the trial period. When all hell breaks loose inside the medical compound, he, Lindsey, and deranged patient Keith must navigate the complex hallways and dodge the “infected” patients in order to get to freedom. A freedom that Will and his team are desperate to keep him from.
