Exclusive: Ghosts Take On an Entirely New Form in This Angelica Clip

Coming to theaters this Friday via Freestyle Digital Media is Angelica, a sexually charged psychological horror/thriller that follows a young couple during Victorian times and the paranormal phenomena they experience during a trying time in their lives.
To give you a sneak peek of the film, we’ve got an exclusive clip that shows Jena Malone walking through her home at night, carrying only a lantern that dimly illuminates the path ahead. She enters the room of someone who is sleeping only to see strange floating parasites that split, melding a vision of mitosis with birth. I won’t spoil what happens next but I really think she should call an exterminator posthaste!
Written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein, Angelica stars Jena Malone, Janet McTeer, Ed Stoppard, and Tovah Fedshuh.
Synopsis:
In Victorian London, puritanical doctors prescribe abstinence to a young couple after the life-threatening birth of their daughter. Sexual repression leads to obsession and opens the door to paranormal phenomena in this psychosexual gothic drama.
