Nicolas Cage in a horror movie. The possibilities are friggin’ endless when those two things come together. Such is the case with Mom and Dad (review), and come early next year you’ll be able to dig on the madness for yourself.

Word has just come across our desks that Mom and Dad will be in theaters and on VOD/Digital HD on January 19, 2018. Check out the stellar cast, which includes Cage alongside Selma Blair (Hellboy, Cruel Intentions), Anne Winters (“13 Reasons Why,” #RealityHigh), Zackary Arthur (“Transparent,” The 5th Wave), and the inimitable Lance Henriksen. Even cooler, the legendary Daniel Pearl (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Friday the 13th (2009)) is handling the cinematography so you know this baby is gonna look incredible!

The flick was written and directed by Brian Taylor (Crank, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance); the film marks his first solo effort as a writer.

Cage and Blair star in this pitch-black horror-comedy about a worldwide mass hysteria where, for 24 brutal hours, parents turn violently against their own children. Your parents brought you into this world, and they most certainly can take you out of it… even if they have to hunt you down first.
