UK Readers – Watch a Clip from The Losers’ Club Featurette on the It Blu-ray Special Features

Released last September to critical and financial acclaim, Stephen King’s It will finally be heading to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on January 15, and is already available on digital download. To celebrate, we’ve been provided with a clip from “The Losers’ Club” featurette on the Blu-ray special features, in which we see the teenage stars of the film bonding during the production and also her how Sophia Lillis felt about being the only girl in the group.

You’ll float too when “IT” arrives onto 4K Ultra HD, Blu-rayTM, DVD, Blu-rayTM Steelbook (exclusive to HMV), and Digital Download from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. New Line Cinema’s blockbuster horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andy Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades.

“IT” stars Bill Skarsgård (“Allegiant,” TV’s “Hemlock Grove”) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (“Midnight Special”), Jeremy Ray Taylor (“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”), Sophia Lillis (“37”), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s “Stranger Things”), Wyatt Oleff (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming “Cops and Robbers”), Jack Dylan Grazer (“Tales of Halloween”), Nicholas Hamilton (“Captain Fantastic”) and Jackson Robert Scott, making his film debut.

Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg and Barbara Muschietti are the producers, with Dave Neustadter, Walter Hamada, Richard Brener, Toby Emmerich, Marty P. Ewing, Doug Davison, Jon Silk and Niija Kuykendall serving as executive producers.

“IT” will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-rayTM, DVD and Blu-rayTM Steelbook from 15 January 2018. The 4K Ultra HD features an Ultra HD Blu-rayTM disc with the theatrical version in 4K with HDR and a Blu-rayTM disc also featuring the theatrical version. The Blu-rayTM and Blu-rayTM Steelbook features the theatrical version of the film in hi-definition and standard definition; the Blu-rayTM and Blu-rayTM Steelbook features the theatrical version of the film in hi-definition on Blu-rayTM; and the DVD features the theatrical version in standard definition. The 4K Ultra HD, Blu-rayTM and Blu-rayTM also include a digital version of the movie in HD. Fans can also own “IT” via purchase from digital retailers beginning 1 January 2018.

4K Ultra HD showcases 4K resolution with High Dynamic Range (HDR) and a wider colour spectrum, offering consumers brighter, deeper, more lifelike colours for a home entertainment viewing experience like never before.

The 4K Ultra HD disc of “IT” will feature Dolby VisionTM HDR that dramatically expands the colour palette and contrast range, and uses dynamic metadata to automatically optimise the picture for every screen — frame by frame.

Also, the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-rayTM discs of “IT” will feature a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. SYNOPSIS
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
