Single-player Challenges Coming to Friday the 13th: The Game

More than eight months after its original release, Friday the 13th: The Game will finally be receiving a series of downloadable single-player challenges, which will be available at no extra cost.

If you’re a fan of the Hitman series, the gameplay video of the challenges below will probably seem familiar. Gun Media confirmed that Hitman was indeed an inspiration in a recent blog post, where they described how the challenges can vary from the simple task of having to kill everyone, to the more complex objectives of killing people in a specific order or with a certain weapon.

If you were hoping that the game might also be getting a story mode at some point, I hate to break it to you, but the blog post also confirmed that it’s not gonna happen for the simple reason that the films in the franchise are not renowned for their narratives.

The free challenges will be added to Friday the 13th: The Game some point in the near future.
