Slasher Game Party Hard Crashing the Party on Switch

The Nintendo Switch sadly missed out on both Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th: The Game, but Nintendo’s seventh home console will finally be getting in on the slasher game action when Party Hard launches on the system, as confirmed by publisher tinyBuild. And unlike its aforementioned counterparts, you might be pleased to hear that it contains a full story mode.

Developed by Pinokl Games and originally released on PC in 2015 before coming to PS4 and Xbox One the following year, Party Hard has you playing as a hockey mask-wearing Jason Voorhees knockoff who spends his time visiting parties and killing all the drunk partygoers. I guess that makes him the very definition of a party pooper. In addition to the usual array of knives and swords, you’ll also have a collection of bombs and poisons at your disposal, but you’ll need to be stealthy or the revelers will call the cops.

We’ll be able to crash the party when Party Hard arrives on the Switch this summer for $14.99. There’s no word yet on whether the upcoming sequel will also be heading to the Switch.
