Amusement Park Slasher Hellfest Casts Bex Taylor-Klaus, Amy Forsyth, and Reign Edwards

I’m not sure if you were aware or not (I wasn’t) but CBS Films has an awesome new amusement park slasher flick coming our way soon called Hellfest.

It will be directed by Gregory Plotkin (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, Editor – Get Out, Happy Death Day) and will be produced by the legendary Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead, Aliens).

If that simple set-up and behind the scenes talent wasn’t enough to get you as excited as I am for the film, maybe today’s news will do the trick.

Today, we officially learned that the film will star Bex Taylor-Klaus (Scream: The TV Series, Arrow), Amy Forsyth (The Path, Rise), and Reign Edwards (MacGyver, Snowfall).

I don’t know about you but an amusement park slasher flick starring one of the leads of “Scream: The TV Series” sounds like a blast to me. Let’s just hope it’s more Happy Death Day and less Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension…

“We are going to take audiences on a wild and terrifying ride,” director Gregory Plotkin says. “And Amy, Reign, and Bex are exactly the talented energetic heroes we have been looking for to face off against our killer.”

The film is directed by Gregory Plotkin, produced by Gale Anne Hurd, and stars Bex Taylor-Klaus, Amy Forsyth, and Reign Edwards. Phillip Kobylanski is overseeing the project for Valhalla Entertainment. Alex Ginno and Mark Ross are overseeing the project for CBS Films.

Hellfest is set for release October 12, 2018.

Synopsis:

A masked serial killer turns a horror-themed amusement park into his own personal Halloween playground while three friends (Forsyth, Edwards, Taylor-Klaus) race to save the patrons who believe that it is all part of the show.
