Glass Eye Pix has announced they will be offering the complete first season of their wildly successful audio theater Tales from Beyond the Pale to audiences beginning October 11th – just in time for Halloween – as digital downloads, compact discs, and a box set. Read on for the details!

From the Press Release:
Conceived during a fog-drenched car ride with nothing beyond the windshield but a horizon-less void, Larry Fessenden and Glenn McQuaid created the acclaimed TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, audio theater inspired by the vintage radio shows of Alfred Hitchcock and Orson Welles.

“It was very gratifying to challenge these artists to step outside their chosen medium and explore the world of audio storytelling and to get everyone into production without a long fundraising period. With audio tales the only limitation to production value is imagination,” states Fessenden.

McQuaid adds: “Season One of Tales from Beyond the Pale represents a year-long effort to plunge the depths of like-minded storytellers and to get original genre content out to hungry ears. It’s an eclectic mix, with each story taking the listener down new and unexplored roads.”

Hosted by Larry Fessenden, the tales feature the voice talents of an impressive array of actors from genre and beyond, including: Vincent D’Onofrio, Ron Perlman, Doug Jones, Shea Whigham, Joe Swanberg, Amy Seimetz, Kate Lyn Sheil, Michael Cerveris, Nick Damici, Kevin Corrigan, Angus Scrimm, AJ Bowen, Christopher Denham, and many others.

TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE is brought to you by Fessenden’s production outfit Glass Eye Pix, which is responsible for dozens of celebrated independent films including THE LAST WINTER, I SELL THE DEAD, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, WENDY AND LUCY, and STAKE LAND, as well as the forthcoming THE INNKEEPERS. TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE delves into the twisted minds of ten horror auteurs to present singular stories of the uncanny, stories that will chill and delight fans of the macabre.
