Bow and Pray Before Sideshow’s Alien Queen Bust
Alien vs. Predator was a far from perfect film, but Paul W. S. Anderson’s PG-13 crapfest did at least give us a very cool depiction of the Xenomorph Queen in all her unholy glory.
Sideshow Collectibles will be releasing a new bust of the film’s version of the hideous Queen later this year, and it’s probably one of the best Alien collectibles we’ve seen in a while. It’s also insanely expensive, but that’s never stopped us horror fans from digging deep. The bust was designed by CoolProps, and stands at 27 inches. It will also come with an extra damaged head depicting the acid wounds Queenie obtained from her fight with the Predators. If you don’t want to attach the alternate head, it will also come with its own mini stand so you can display it separately.
The Alien Queen bust is expected to ship between May to July of this year, and will cost a whopping $2,299.00, or £1,704 if you’re in the UK. So if you’re lucky enough to have a couple of thousand dollars laying around, make you you pre-order before it sells out.
Alien Queen Bust Official Synopsis
The Queen at the abyss of ruins.
Sideshow and CoolProps are proud to present the Alien Queen 1:3 Bust Maquette! Alien Queen appeared in the 2004 movie ALIEN VS PREDATOR. Alien Queen was captured at the abyss of the ruins of Antarctica.
Previous ADI studio artist, AKIHITO was the one who created the 1:4 Maquette for the prop, and the studio later on created 1:3 and 1:1 props based on this 1:4 Maquette. They also refined the head, body and the detailed design from the Alien Queen which appeared in the previous movie.
The movie-accurate Alien Queen by CoolProps was modeled based on the screen used 1:3 maquette.
This deluxe version includes an extra head which shows the damaged crown from the battle with Predator. This head was accurately reproduced by the 3D designer.
Don’t miss the chance to add the raging Alien Queen to your collection.
