Elizabeth Banks Joins Producer James Gunn’s Untitled H Collective Horror Movie
It’s been a w hile since we’ve heard anything on producer James Gunn’s upcoming untilted horror film for The H Collective. In fact, the last we heard was that David Yarovesky (The Hive) will direct the film from a script written by Brian and Mark Gunn.
But that all changes today as we have word that Gunn will be reteaming with Elizabeth Banks for the mysterious new horror movie. Banks and Gunn, of course, previously worked together on the cult horror-comedy Slither back in 2006.
“Elizabeth and I have been on the same artistic page since we first met when she auditioned for Slither back in 2005,” Gunn said in a statement.”She’s since remained one of my best friends in the world, and I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to work with her again. She’s the perfect partner to Yarvo, the H Collective and myself in creating this very special project.”
The H Collective will fully finance the flick and produce alongside Gunn and his Troll Court Entertainment. The project is expected to start production this Spring.
Slither synopsis:
Wheelsy is a small town where not much happens and everyone minds his own business. No one notices when evil slips in quietly but, when people find mutilated livestock and a woman goes missing, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) discovers an alien organism that threatens to devour all life on Earth.
